Pre-Award Coordinator

Support a fast-paced and dynamic Department of Medicine Pre-Award Office with compilation and submission of complex research applications. Assist with formatting and editing a high volume of grant proposal documents of a technical and specialized nature. Assist with tracking and verifying a high volume of subaward documentation. Provide support to Principal Investigators and Grant Proposal Managers by preparing and maintaining biosketches, editing application materials to assure responsiveness to sponsor guidelines, and assembling data needed for just in time requests. Maintain research-related webpages on the Department of Medicine website.
Bachelor's degree and one to three years' experience in business support functions. Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook.
Prior experience in federal grants support desirable.
$24 - 28/hr.
Bargaining unit position, A probationary period may be required, External candidates must complete a 4-month probationary period, A probationary period may be required for current UVM employees, This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule with an option to split time between campus and elsewhere, in accordance with the university telecommuting policy, Background Check required for this position
