Job Description:

* Primary Function:


Supervise activities of shipping department in the loading of trucks. Employee will be used to fill in on other jobs in plant as required.


* Duties:


Tasks Include but are not limited to:


A. Supervise activities of shippers in the loading of trucks.


B. Directs and coordinates activities associated with the shipping department.


C. Supervise all plants safety rules and regulations.


D. Document yearly reviews on employees.


E. Document quarterly contact sheets on employees.


F. Document incident, disciplinary action, accident/injury reports when needed.


G. Document daily supervisor audits.


H. Basic understanding of Warehouse Locator position in case of the need for coverage.


I. Operate propane sit down lift trucks.


J. Utilize shipping product commitment to aid in daily shipping activities (Staging, loading etc)


K. Aid warehouse manger while performing inventory.


L. Daily maintains order and organization in the warehouse.


M. Pick order as stated on order form.


N. Inspect material for quality defects.


O. Load material on flat bed or box trucks.


P. Inspect to see if proper material is loaded on truck.


Q. Fill out all paperwork associated with order.


R. Material handling of all products.


S. Tarp house carriers.


T. Housekeeping of plant inside and out.


U. Scrap out, and/or segregate defective product and fill out proper paper work.


V. Help with the up keep of the entire plant.


W. Assist in training of new team members.


Physical Requirements:


Physical requirements include but are not limited to:


* Sitting & reaching
* Standing
* Walking including climbing up and down steep ladder.
* Balancing
* Stooping & crouching
* Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
* Hearing and sight
* Identify the products correctly.
