Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Patient Representatives
Full time/3 month assignment that could go longer, Monday to Friday, 8 am - 4:30 pm ( 2/3 days a week until 5 in North Syracuse) Liverpool hours 8:15 am - 4:45 pm ( 3 days a week until 5 and start at 8 if needed)
North Syracuse, Dewitt, and Liverpool, NY
As a Patient Representative you will:
Pleasantly checks in patient's appointments automated system
Accurately input& update patient demographic and insurance information
Scan insurance cards,
Printing provider paperwork, daily reports,
Provides appropriate front desk forms to patients to fill out,
Give educational verbiage to the patient and may include other representative duties.
Demonstrates thorough knowledge and stays up to date on our insurance policies, properly inform patients of "par\" status and referral requirements.
Utilizes insurance information provided by our billing department/management team.
Follows protocol for use of Waiver form
Mail out our patient information from work from home surgical schedulers as needed.
If scheduling, appropriately asks questions of new patients and schedules with appropriate provider.
Utilizes triage nurse as necessary when there is a question about appointment availability or if addressing a patient walking in.
Responds to any scheduling or rescheduling needs of our Physicians as notified by supervisor.
Reschedules patients correctly & timely in system and will alert patients checking in if provider running late or need to reschedule.
Ensures the insurance information attached to the appointment is updated and informs patient of necessary requirements for their appointment such as (films, referral, insurance cards, records, etc.).
The ideal candidate will have:
Thorough knowledge of Allscripts system; how it is utilized when dealing with registrations, appointment scheduling, referrals, etc. Demonstrates appropriate knowledge as necessary with billing system
