Position: Software Engineer III
Job Location: 221 River Street, Hoboken, NJ 07030
Duties: Create and configure minimalistic code for an entire application and ensure the components meet the business and technical requirements, non-functional requirements, low-maintainability, high-availability and high-scalability needs. Assist in the selection of appropriate languages, development standards, and tools for software coding and configuration. Learn the fundamentals of different coding languages and frameworks that would be useful for future scope of work. Build scripts for the automation of repetitive and routine tasks in Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD). Implement telemetry features. Ensure security policy requirements are properly applied to application during code development and configuration.
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area; OR Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 2 years of experience in software engineering or a related area.
Skills required: Experience coding in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React. Experience designing and implementing REST API web services. Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD). Experience coding in Java programming language. Experience with unit testing using Jest Framework. Experience using query language GraphQL. Experience building web pages using HTML and CSS. Experience participating in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Experience tracking tickets using JIRA. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
