Position: Software Engineer III
Job Location: 221 River Street, Hoboken, NJ 07030
Duties: Create flowcharts and workflow diagrams for existing architecture. Set up rules and guidelines for developing efficient software products. Work with Business Analysts and Product Owners to understand and discuss the requirements. Build software with extensive usage of Node.js, React.js, TypeScript, and GraphQL tools and platforms. Research, design, develop, and test software to meet business requirements. Design and document software development workflow for future reference. Document step by step process for packaging, compiling, and deploying the software into various environments. Create and document guidelines for the creation of robust, efficient, error free, and reliable software. Research, suggest, and use suitable platforms and technologies to build software. Troubleshoot problems in the software by developing and conducting maintenance.
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or a related field. Position does not require specific years of experience but requires listed skills.
Skills required: Experience designing and developing accessible frontend applications using ReactJS. Experience coding in JavaScript and TypeScript programming languages. Experience designing and implementing Relational Database schemas using MySQL. Experience designing and developing server-side rendering applications using NextJS. Experience designing and developing REST APIs using NodeJS. Experience performing penetration testing on the software to find vulnerabilities and documenting them. Experience designing and developing reusable components and orchestrating those components as needed. Experience designing and coding unit tests using Jest. Experience deploying applications to cloud platforms Azure and GCP. Experience designing and developing browser extensions for Chrome and Safari browsers.
