The position

Looking for an active, exciting career in liquid plant operations processing? Do you want to be a part of an organization that impacts the environment in a positive way? If so, Liquid Environmental Services is looking for a Plant Operator like you! As a Wastewater Plant Operator, your primary responsibility will be to treat wastewater, determine water quality, and release treated water to city publicly owned treatment works. 

FULL TIME: Requires availability between 4am to 6pm Monday through Friday, actual schedule will be within these hours.

Pay: $18 to 22/hr depending on experience.

Scope of accountability


  • Responsible for mixing the wastewater chemicals and adding to them as needed

  • Manages the space for incoming wastewater and treatment of material

*


  • Samples and checks facility discharge for compliance with all procedures or regulations

*


  • Performs cleanup of area as required

*


  • Checks tank levels for necessary space for material processing

*


  • Follows all safety and compliance rules and regulations

*


  • Wears and properly use safety equipment at all times

*


  • Always works in a safe and compliant manner

*


  • Works cooperatively as a team member with other departments
