The Project Engineer will be responsible for creating new equipment layouts and updating existing ones to fulfill the needs of two facilities. This position involves drafting work scope documents, preparing budgets, setting project schedules, evaluating utility capacity and availability, and working with various trades (such as riggers, electricians, and pipe fitters) to complete projects. The role includes both on-site inspections and computer-based design and planning.
Primary Duties:
Create and update equipment layouts for two facilities.
Draft detailed work scope documents and project budgets.
Set and manage project schedules.
Evaluate utility capacity and availability.
Work with trades such as riggers, electricians, and pipe fitters.
Conduct on-site inspections and computer-based planning.
Qualifications:
More than 2 years years of engineering experience in food production, pharmaceuticals, or consumer products.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to generate and review options within and across departments.
Experience with complex project execution and vendor interactions.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Industrial or Mechanical).
