The Vice President of Investor Relations is responsible for managing communication between the company and its investors, ensuring transparency and fostering positive relationships to support the company's financial strategy and market position. The Vice President of Investor Relations will partner with Leadership to align all strategic objectives and activities of the company
Investor Relations Strategy:
Develop and implement a global investor relations strategy that reflects the company's post-merger vision and goals.
Communicate the company's financial performance, strategic initiatives, and growth prospects to the investment community.
Ensure consistent and transparent communication with investors, analysts, and rating agencies.
Post-Merger Integration:
Collaborate with the executive team to communicate the benefits and strategic rationale of the merger to investors.
Provide updates on the integration process, synergies achieved, and long-term value creation.
Address investor concerns and questions related to the merger and integration.
Global Investor Engagement:
Build and maintain relationships with a diverse group of global investors and analysts.
Organize and participate in global investor meetings, conferences, and roadshows.
Tailor communications to address the interests and concerns of different investor segments and regions.
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
Oversee the preparation and presentation of quarterly earnings reports, annual reports, and other financial disclosures.
Analyze and interpret financial results, market trends, and competitive dynamics to provide insights to investors.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and best practices in financial reporting.
Crisis Management:
Develop and implement communication strategies for managing investor relations during crises or significant events.
Provide timely and accurate information to investors during periods of market volatility or company-specific challenges.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with the finance, legal, and communications teams to ensure alignment in messaging and reporting.
Collaborate with the corporate development team to support M&A activities and communicate their impact to investors.
Engage with internal stakeholders to gather insights and information for investor communications.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in treasury, investor relations, or corporate finance, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
Strong understanding of financial markets, instruments, and regulations.
Proven experience in managing investor relations for a global company
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with investors, analysts, and other stakeholders.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
