Position Summary:
You will support District-wide Internal Communications strategies and activities. Serve as communications consultant to internal Bank clients and develop communications to support business programs. Write, edit, proofread, and post communications content . Pursue ways to expand the range and variety of communication tools to engage managers and staff. You will report to the Internal Communications Director.
Location: You must live within commuting distance of Atlanta or an approved Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta office.
You may be considered for the Specialist or Sr. Specialist based on your relevant experience.
We are a hybrid organization requiring some in office presence.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop content to engage employees through creative storytelling (written, verbal, and live events). This includes conducting background research, gathering information, editing, and proofreading communications.
Collaborate with intranet/web staff to leverage use of web technology and other social media tools.
Consult with business leaders, managers, and subject matter experts to analyze communications needs and develop appropriate communications strategies, programs, and materials to support business goals.
Support feedback mechanisms to collect employee, manager, and executive input.
Provide updates and reports. Create, monitor, and maintain communications-related project documentation, including updates on progress, status, resource management, and reports.
Serve as back-up for digital signage and communications support, including Sitecore, TV6, and Workplace.
Provide back-up support for Public Affairs crisis communications activities.
Education: Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Journalism or Communications
Experience: Five + years in addition to education preferred
Knowledge Areas:
Solid written and oral communication skills
Strategic planning and project management
Technical Skills:
Experience managing corporate/internal communications
MS Office - Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint
Digital media tools (video production, graphic design) preferred
