The Program Coordinator provides a range of clerical services and office support activities to ensure smooth and efficient administrative operations. To such ends, the role encompasses clerical duties, research and grant-identification support, internal and external communication, and outreach activities.
CORE JOB FUNCTIONS
Assists the designated Office's leadership with daily operations in a hybrid modality.
Prepares reports, charts, budgets, and other presentation materials. Addresses routine inquiries from both internal and external sources through standard correspondence, phone calls, or other messaging platforms.
Coordinates meetings and events, takes comprehensive minutes, and liaises with internal and external participants or collaborators as required, including SoA IT, Budget, and Communication teams.
Identifies or supports research initiatives, grant opportunities, event planning, and outreach activities.
Coordinates social media related to designated department(s) and related events.
Supervises student assistants in their efforts to support research-related initiatives within designated department(s).
Collaborates with institutional colleagues and external partners to achieve project goals, prepare reports, and manage communication efforts, including bi-annual SoA SACS and Academic Analytics submission drafts, monthly research newsletters, and research-oriented Salon events.
Coordinates appointment scheduling and calendar updates. Arranges travel and reservations for department leadership and staff as necessary.
Drafts and types correspondence, reports, and informational materials; generates spreadsheets and presentations.
Greets and assists visitors during events and meetings. Develops and maintains department(s) internal filing and analytical systems.
Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; some college or university preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of relatable experience
