Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) Technicians must be proficient in AutoCAD and Bentley Microstation. The CAD Technician must have a good understanding of architectural floor plans and AEC standards and the ability to create detailed floor plans from field drawings.
Tasks:
Utilize CAD tools to create and update digital floor plans of buildings on military installations
Accurately document space usage within buildings floor plan based on standardized criteria and attributes
Utilize computing and digital measuring devices to generate highly accurate floor plans
Maintain a high level of productivity
Ensure detailed data quality standards are consistently maintained
Interact in a professional manner
Job Profile: CAD Technician is an entry-level full time position with career progression opportunities. The role is assigned to facility survey projects within the United States. Assignments range from several days to several months depending on size of project.
Compensation Minimum: $40,000
Compensation Maximum: $55,000
