The Technology for the Chief Operating Office (TCOO) group provides technology services for the Chief Operating Office. This includes operations, control executives, strategic execution, business continuity and resiliency, data solutions and services, regulatory relations, customer experience, enterprise shared services, supply chain management, and the corporate properties group. TCOO provides technology solutions and manages application portfolios for these groups to support modernization and optimization.
Within TCOO the Platform & Application Services team we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced technology change lead (Lead Infrastructure Engineer) to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of all IT changes, ensuring they are implemented smoothly, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to the business. You will play a key role in promoting a culture of change management best practices across the organization.
In this role, you will:
Implement, maintain, and continuously improve ITIL-based change management processes
Aggressively identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the change management process
Evaluate proposed changes, assessing their impact, risk, and potential benefits
Manage the change schedule, ensuring efficient scheduling and prioritization of changes.
Oversee the assessment, authorization, and implementation of all types of changes (e.g., normal, emergency, etc)
Represent TCOO in high risk Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings, facilitating discussions and driving decision-making
Ensure proper documentation of all changes, including pre-change test results, risk assessments, implementation plans, and back-out procedures
Plan and coordinate the deployment of software releases, ensuring alignment with business requirements and timelines
Collaborate with development, testing, and operations teams to ensure seamless transitions between environments
Manage release schedules, coordinating resources and mitigating potential conflicts
Oversee the implementation of deployment tools and automation processes
Monitor post-deployment performance, identifying and resolving any issues
Maintain comprehensive documentation of deployment and release procedures
Collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, including IT teams, business units, and management, to ensure alignment and successful change implementation
Communicate change plans and schedules effectively to all impacted parties
Provide regular reports on change management performance, including key metrics and trends
Identify and assess potential risks associated with proposed changes
Develop and implement mitigation strategies to minimize risks and ensure business continuity
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of risk mitigation efforts
Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in ITIL and change management
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
3+ years of experience in managing deployments and releases in a complex IT environment
3+ years of experience with software development lifecycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
3+ years of experience with change management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Desk) and deployment automation tools
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Experience motivating and influencing groups or individuals across organizational boundaries to gain trust and confidence to make timely decisions
Solid understanding of ITIL framework, specifically the change management process.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities with a focus on proactive solutions
Ability to develop and deliver effective, well-articulated, written, and oral communications (e.g., emails, presentation materials) applying appropriate level of content/ detail dependent upon audience and intent
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills across technical and non-technical groups
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Experience with DevOps and/or DevSecOps
Experience with Site Reliability Engineering practices
Experience in a regulated industry
ITIL certifications

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates. $111,100.00 - $237,100.00 Benefits
