A day in the life.



As our Application Specialist on the National Platform Services team, you'll work closely with members within our team, the User Support Team, and operational leads across MMA. You will be responsible for all aspects of Vertafore Agency Management System components. Overseeing and providing a hands-on approach to supporting the current Sagitta environments.

We'd love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills and experiences:



• 3+ years of in-depth technical knowledge of the Vertafore Sagitta Agency Management solution



• Technical Skills:

o Extensive knowledge and expertise in working with the Vertafore Sagitta core application, including its various modules and functionalities.
o Proficiency in utilizing ancillary components such as eForms, AMS Word, ASD (Assemble Store Distribute), and download processing to enhance system capabilities.
o Knowledge of system installation, upgrades, patch management, and performance optimization techniques to keep the system up-to-date and running at its best.
o Understanding of system integrations with third-party applications like Benefit Point and ImageRight, enabling seamless data exchange and collaboration.
o Familiarity with industry-standard system security best practices and compliance with data privacy regulations to safeguard sensitive information.
o Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the Vertafore applications, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient problem resolution.



• Server Level Skills:

o IBM AIX - Basic navigation skills required to monitor, maintain, and support the Sagitta database environment.
o Windows Server - Knowledge of Windows Server operating systems is crucial for managing and maintaining server infrastructure.



• User Support and Training:

o Ability to provide technical support to users, troubleshoot issues, and provide guidance on system usage.
o Ability to monitor and react to system events. Escalation with internal and external resources as appropriate



• Communication Skills:

o Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with users, stakeholders, and technical teams.
o Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
o Active listening skills to understand user requirements and address their concerns.
o Collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and vendors.



• Organizational Skills:

o Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve system issues.
o Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and data integrity within the Vertafore applications.
o Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
o Time management skills to meet deadlines and handle system maintenance and upgrades.
o Documentation skills to maintain system configurations, procedures, and user guides.



• Continuous Learning:

o Interest in staying updated with the latest advancements and updates in the Vertafore applications.
o Proactive approach to learning new features and functionalities within the Sagitta environment.
o Ability to adapt to changes and implement system enhancements as required.



These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:




• Data Migration:

o Experience in migrating data from legacy systems or other sources into Sagitta. This includes data mapping, data cleansing, and ensuring data integrity during the migration process.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $105,700 to $158,500. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
