We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Sales Support/Order Entry Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the sales team by managing customer orders, ensuring accurate data entry, and providing excellent customer service. You will serve as a key liaison between the sales department, customers, and various internal teams to ensure a smooth and efficient order process.
Key Responsibilities
You'll be the go-to person for entering and processing customer orders with 100% accuracy.
Provide essential support by preparing quotes, answering customer questions, and ensuring the sales team has everything they need to close deals.
Respond to customer questions regarding orders, delivery times, pricing, and product specifications. Resolve any issues related to orders in a timely manner.
Liaise with internal departments such as shipping, production, and accounting to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders.
Monitor stock levels to ensure product availability and communicate with the inventory team for restocking when needed.
Maintain organized and up-to-date records of customer orders, invoices, and communications for easy reference and tracking.
Generate and distribute sales and order reports to the sales team and management to track order status, delivery timelines, and performance metrics.
Provide general administrative support to the sales department, including scheduling meetings, preparing sales materials, and managing correspondence.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred).
1-2 years of experience in order entry, sales support, or customer service roles.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience with CRM or order management software is a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively with sales, customer service, and other internal teams.
