Job Description:

QUALIFICATIONS:


  1. Entry Level position for individual with an Associate's/Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting. Coursework in Accounting required.

  2. No experience required but educational requirements must be met.

  3. Ability to type accurately (50 words per minute) utilizing computers.

  4. Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and other general computer applications. 

  5. Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

  6. Ability to identify with the Agency Mission Statement and support the agency’s Core Values.

  7. Must have acceptable PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse History clearance and FBI clearance (as applicable). 

CORE COMPETENCIES:

Accounts Receivables – Estimated two to three days per week, may fluctuate based on need


  1. Prepare all cash receipts on a daily basis. 

  2. Weekly preparation of Community Monitoring Program Self Pay Client Billing for Assistant Director of Finance review.

  3. Assist in the monthly preparation of Community Monitoring Program  County/School District Billing for Assistant Director of Finance review. 

  4. As the backup Billing Specialist have knowledge of the basic functionality of billing claims in order to bill when necessary. 

  5. Assist with processing and follow up of monthly aging reports as necessary.

  6. Produce monthly billing for Family Wellness Clients. 

  7. Assist in monthly counting billing for the Forensic and Family Wellness programs.    

  8. Complete all clerical duties as assigned such as filing, emails, etc.

General Ledger/Accounts Payable – Estimated two to three days per week, may fluctuate based on need


  1. Assist in Accounts Payable Invoice processing as needed.  Weekly mailing and filing of all paid invoices.

  2. Assist in creation of month end journal entries.

  3. Assist in monthly Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations.

  4. Assist in monthly Bank Reconciliations. 

  5. Assist in monthly Financial Reporting. 

  6. Assist in other monthly Reporting. 

  7. Assist CFO on other assignments. 

  8. Assist in the Bi-weekly Program Productivity reports for Full Time Staff: MHP, TC, BCM, FBMH, IBHS and OP.

  9. Complete all clerical duties as assigned such as filing, emails, etc.
