Job Description:

Dynamic Manufacturing Inc, is searching for a part time/contractor (20~30 hrs/wk) CMM Programmer to join our rapidly evolving team! Under the direction of Quality Supervisor, the CMM Programmer will be responsible for generating CMM programs and coordinating with machine shop to review and solve nonconformances.

CMM Programmer Core Responsibilities:

• Generate CMM programs using MCOSMOS and/ or PCDMIS from print and CAD models.


• Coordinate with CNC machine supervisor / programmer to identify nonconformances and resolution in a timely manner.


• Perform Full Dimensional layout, 1st Piece & In-process Inspection (as required) of CNC Machined precision parts.


• Review, monitor and track nonconformances.


• Review & disposition suspect products in timely manner.


• Generate PPAP, Control Plans & FMEAs.


• Root cause analysis & Corrective Action Report.


• Develop & revise Job Instructions, Control Plans or other documents as required.


• Train & supervise Quality Inspectors.


• Job description is not all inclusive and the employee will also perform other reasonably related business duties as assigned

CMM Programmer Qualifications:

• Ability to write/ generate CMM programs using MCOSMOS and / or PCDMIS from prints and CAD file..


• Familiar with Optical/ Vision Measurment Systems . i.e RAM Optical/ Sprint MVP/ Measure- X Vision system.


• Ability to use various measuring & test equipment such as Profilometer, Micrometers, Calipers, Indicators, Bore Gages, Height gages, Force testers, Surface plates, Plug gages, Air & LVDT gaging etc.


• Ability to read & interpret complex OEM prints.


• Well versed in GD&T


• Good analytic skills with common sense approach to problem solving.


• Strong written & verbal communication skills with good understanding of math.


• Ability to work in manufacturing production floor & be able to lift up to 30 lbs.


• Minimum of 8 years experience in machine shop or Manufacturing environment.


• Team Player


• Well versed in MS Word, Excel & Outlook.


• Strong mechanical aptitude & willingness to learn.


• Experience with CNC machined tight tolerance parts.


• Bilingual English/ Spanish, or English/ Polish helpful
