At Turnwell Mental Health Network, our mission is to expand access to high quality care in under-served markets. This position will be a key contributor on the team and lead a variety of strategic operations projects, primarily focused on new market growth & development (denovo location openings) at a fast-growing startup. The Director of Special Projects must have the proven ability to coordinate and motivate large cross functional project teams through complex projects with competing priorities. The ability to solve problems efficiently and effectively is critical to success in this role. Will work collaboratively with the VP of Growth to assist a broad range of teams (including but not limited to Regional Operations, Clinical Operations, M&A Development, Sales, IT, and Finance) by leading the successful execution of multiple strategic projects in parallel.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all inclusive:
Lead operations projects through the entire project life cycle to achieve the goals and objectives of Turnwell Mental Health with a keen eye for process improvement and synergistic opportunities.
Oversee the Implementation process over multiple development projects simultaneously.
Research & Analyze new markets for de novo (new location) expansion opportunities.
Travel, as needed, to achieve important project milestones on-site at new facility locations.
Develop and keep current detailed project schedules & dashboards (roadmaps), status reports and other project documents to monitor and track progress.
Develop metrics and track the progress of the new facility opening process.
Perform cost-benefit analyses to drive decision-making.
Manage vendor relationships with various external service & supply vendors (e.g. Staples, McKesson, janitorial companies, etc.)
Develop a working knowledge of all Turnwell Mental Health services and the behavioral healthcare industry to effectively contribute to a variety of special projects.
Proactively identify and resolve project issues & risks.
Consistently seek feedback from the team identifying process improvement opportunities.
Measure project performance and "lessons learned" closing activities using appropriate tools and techniques.
Coordinate and communicate continuously with other departments to share information, best practices, systems issues, process solutions, and training needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree required (preferably in a STEM field)
Experience:
Three plus (3+) years' business strategy or operations experience required
