Job Description:

Summary/Objective

The Director of Strategic Alignment champions Access Health's mission with community stakeholders and supporters. This role develops and implements communication and partnership strategies that align with organizational goals while supporting sustainability through engagement with donors, funders, and community partners. It ensures project alignment and coordinates communications to reflect Access Health's mission, vision, and goals. The Director also creates clear messaging and collaborates on strategies to secure funding, including grant writing and resource acquisition, while enhancing public presence and fostering cross-sector collaboration.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement communication and partnership strategies that support community engagement, program visibility, and sustainable resource development.

  • Create and manage communication materials, including newsletters, press releases, social media, and impact reports.

  • Assist in the creation of digital and print media to enhance outreach and build long-term community engagement.

  • Build and maintain sustainable relationships with community leaders, donors, and media outlets to promote Access Health's mission and impact.

  • Lead efforts to secure and manage partnerships and funding opportunities, including writing grants, pursuing public funding, and fostering collaborations that directly contribute to the organization's sustainability and growth.

  • Lead the development of communication strategies that support Access Health's programs and public relations efforts, ensuring sustainability in messaging and partnerships.

  • Monitor and analyze partnership and resource development data to assess progress, impact, and sustainability

  • Prepare regular reports on communication and partnership goals, focusing on long-term sustainability.

  • Collaborate with the Executive Director, Director of Community-Based Services, and management team to align communication and partnership strategies with sustainable organizational objectives

  • Plan and execute events that foster community engagement and strengthen sustainable relationships.

  • Additional Contributions: Perform other duties as required to support organizational goals and objectives, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in meeting changing needs.

Required Education and Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, nonprofit management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

  • Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in communications, public relations, or partnership development, preferably within the nonprofit or healthcare sector.

  • Project Management & Prioritization: Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment while focusing on long-term organizational sustainability.
