Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Java Developer in Pittsburgh, PA.

Summary:
In this role, you will be tasked with running API development and integration processes, developing and scalable applications using Java with Spring Boot applications and troubleshooting and resolving production issues quickly and effectively. The Senior Java Developer will also be responsible for overseeing development activities related to projects and production support activities, as well as work with e-commerce platforms, particularly Shopify, to enhance and streamline online functionalities.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field


• Must have 7+ years of experience in Java development, with substantial experience in leading engineering projects


• Must have Shopify experience, at least 2+ years


• Must have experience leading technical teams, with or without direct reports


• Must have advanced knowledge of Java, Spring Boot frameworks


• Must have excellent communication and ability to multi-task

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
