Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Pittsburgh, PA that is seeking a Project Manager on a contract basis.

Summary:
The Project Manager will be tasked with executing project plans on schedule and within budget and performing all project closure activities including providing functional managers feedback on performance of their resources and recognizing project team. The Project Manager will also ensure that goals and deliverables as described on project scope document are met, and escalate project issues to sponsor, vendor, program manager, functional manager and/or senior management, if needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer or Information Science or equivalent experience is required


• Must have 4-6 years of experience in Information Technology project management


• Must have experience managing both software development projects and infrastructure projects


• Project management experience through the entire project life cycle required; Waterfall methodology required, and SCRUM methodology is required


• Must have excellent verbal and written communication


• Must be able to problem solve and work in a fast-paced environment

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
