Kerusso, a leading brand in lifestyle products like apparel, drinkware, headwear, and gifts, is looking for a passionate VP of Creative & Product Development to guide our talented teams. If you're driven, creative, and ready to help move our mission forward, this role could be for you! We're seeking someone with strong leadership, creative skills, and the technical know-how to lead our creative and product development teams, while building strong partnerships across departments.
About the Role:
Mission-Focused: Live and promote Kerusso's mission in both work and life, setting an example for the team. Make sure the company's mission is part of everyday operations, decisions, and team culture. Maintain high standards of integrity in everything you do.
Leadership & Team Building:
Lead and inspire our Creative and Product Development teams, drawing on your 5-10 years of leadership experience.
Develop and hold both teams accountable, ensuring they work together and deliver results.
Build a strong, collaborative environment by connecting Creative and Product teams, while also working closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and IT.
Challenge the norm and push for innovation, avoiding the "we've always done it this way" mindset.
Creative & Strategic Thinking:
Use your 15+ years of graphic design and product development experience to create standout products.
Manage Digital Asset Management systems to keep things running smoothly and efficiently.
Bring data-driven insights into market and consumer analysis, focusing on facts rather than assumptions.
Think strategically about the future, helping drive growth and staying ahead of trends.
Use your financial smarts to make informed decisions on sourcing, demand planning, and negotiations.
Manage projects by keeping teams on schedule and accountable.
Focus on delivering results, knowing that outcomes matter more than activity.
Other Responsibilities:
Be ready to work on-site at least one week each month to connect with the team and keep our presence strong.
Take advantage of trade shows and branding events to boost the visibility and impact of Kerusso.
Qualifications:
Personal and professional alignment with Kerusso's Mission and global message are crucial. Experience in a VP of Creative/Product Development role or something similar, with 5-10 years of leadership experience. A strong background in product development and graphic design (15+ years). Experience working in lifestyle products like apparel, drinkware, headwear, and gifts. A strategic thinker with skills in project management and financial decision-making. Willingness to travel to work with our teams and partners.
