The Secondary Markets Specialist facilitates loan fundings through coordination efforts with several internal teams and allocating each loan to one of our designated warehouse lines. We then help coordinate the delivery efforts of collateral to the document custodian and reconcile pool fundings with our investors.
Responsibilities
Combine and deliver image packages to the warehouse lender, servicer and investor
Produce data tapes and deliver to custodian and warehouse lenders
Maintain the relationship with warehouse lenders
Help manage flow of wires and make suggestions for improvements as needed
Perform due diligence on all wire requests
Monitor the timely resolution of closing-related loan exceptions
Work with custodian to resolve exceptions
Update investor locks

Requirements:
2+ years' experience working in Secondary Markets
MERS experience is a plus
Working knowledge of MS Excel and Word.
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong math skills.
Effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced working environment.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to problem solve.
Self-starter that can work independently.
Keen attention to detail, ability to multi-task and strong organization skills.
