Responsibilities:
Summary: Design, develop, and test RF, analog, and digital electronic circuits for next-generation submarine Electronic Warfare systems.
Lead the integration, testing, troubleshooting, and verification of electrical hardware.
Conduct component and architecture trade studies to optimize system solutions.
Develop test criteria and assist in designing test systems, including software applications.
Generate technical documentation and present findings to program management and Navy customers.
Mentor and lead technical teams, ensuring the successful completion of strategic tasks and projects.
Identify technical risks and contribute to mitigation plans to meet project goals.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field with 10+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 8+ years of experience.
Clearance:
Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
Experience:
Expertise in RF system design, development, and testing.
Proficiency in electrical schematic capture and PCB design, including OrCAD Capture.
Hands-on experience in electronics design, prototyping, and testing.
Experience in digital and embedded electronics.
Strong understanding of the engineering development life cycle, from concept to testing.
Proficiency in analog and digital circuit design, including signal integrity principles.
Advanced skills in troubleshooting and analyzing circuit schematics.
Prior leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and motivate technical teams.
Additional Skills:
Experience with MATLAB is a plus.
Strong communication and documentation skills, with experience in presenting to senior management and external stakeholders.
Motivated to innovate in design architectures, assembly, and component selection.
