Senior Advanced Systems Engineer job in Scottsdale, Arizona is available with Moseley Technical Services Top SpaceCompany. In this job you will research and analyze data, vendor products, components, GFE/CFE, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application and perform requirements analysis, requirements definition, requirements management, functional analysis, performance analysis, and system design and definition
Responsibilities:
Summary: Perform requirements analysis, system design, and data research for COTS components, GFE/CFE, and vendor products to ensure feasibility of design or application.
Support the development of technical engineering products using established standards and processes throughout the system development life cycle.
Facilitate discussions with senior customer stakeholders, providing technical expertise for the Tranche 1 (T1) Operations and Integration (O&I) program.
Contribute to ground segment integration, including SUPERNOVAs, NOVAs, ground entry points (GEP), and associated ground networks, across Tranche 1 (T1), Tranche 2 (T2), and beyond.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related field, with 8+ years of experience; or a Master's degree with 6+ years of experience.
Clearance:
U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
Experience:
Proven success in leading the systems development life cycle.
Strong understanding of technology trends and willingness to drive innovation.
Expertise in presenting and negotiating solutions to meet challenging customer requirements.
Team leadership skills, with a focus on technical collaboration and development.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Agile methodologies.
Knowledge of satellite communications, ground-to-satellite communication, and ground operations.
Expertise in satellite constellation contact planning.
Experience designing networks and working with networking protocols.
Familiarity with software functional analysis, interface definitions, and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).
