Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Hematology in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Associate or Full Professor position in either the non-tenure clinician educator track or the tenure track. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Must have board certification in pediatric hematology-oncology (preferred) or medical hematology. Rank will be commensurate with experience.
Teaching responsibilities may include teaching medical students, pediatric residents and pediatric hematology/oncology fellows, as well as PhD students and post-doctoral fellows.
Clinical responsibilities may include inpatient and outpatient service in pediatric hematology.
Research or scholarship responsibilities may include research involving patients with sickle hemoglobinopathies. The successful candidate will be a nationally or internationally-recognized leader in the field of non-malignant blood disorders and will have a track record of outstanding research accomplishments and the ability to work collaboratively across disciplines.
