Location: Cudahy, WI

Salary: $80,000.00 USD Annually - $90,000.00 USD Annually

Description: The Judge Group is in search of an Applications Engineer to partner with internal staff and customers with a major focus on brazing and soldering HVAC/R systems. The right candidate could come from a background in braze training/education, engineering, or HVAC installation and/or repair. Y


You will need the requisite brazing knowledge to be able to teach it, but will also receive training from the retiring incumbent on company-specific training methods and specifications.


This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Sales support in brazing applications to assist in sustaining high service relationships with customers


• Providing in-person training to customers and internal partners


• Developing technical support-based growth strategies


• Assist in developing technical sales enablement tools such as braze joints and assemblies, application case histories, technical data sheets, rapid solution development tool.


• Project management and execution of activities related to new product development.


• Failure analysis of parts submitted by customers.


• Assist in development of interns and junior Engineering staff.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Experience in HVAC installation and repair or OEM braze processes
  
  


• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and execution of activities.


• Braze failure analysis.


• Awareness of the commercial process as it relates to technical solution proposal and closure.


• Intimate knowledge of brazing materials, brazing process, and related manufacturing processes.
