Chemical Operator I
Position SummaryThis non-union position sets up, monitors, and executes chemical processes according to a specified batch record using various unit operations while utilizing safe manufacturing practices. This position will require the candidate to work onsite at the Holland facility. This position is a non-union position.
Responsibilities:
Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree program in a related science field; one to three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in basic laboratory techniques; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Desired QualificationsSeeking candidates who are strong problem solvers, self-motivated, highly reliable individuals who enjoys learning new things. Desired experience for this position includes 1-3 years work experience as an operator in the chemical, pharmaceutical, or food industries.
This position requires heavy lifting, extensive standing and walking as part of the regular responsibilities of the position and also involves routinely working with hazardous chemicals.
