Ast Inst/Inst/Ast Prof - Fixed Term
Position SummaryThe Arts, Cultural Management, & Museum Studies program at Michigan State University is currently establishing a pool of assistant professors, instructors, and assistant instructors. These positions will be filled per course on an as-needed basis. Applicants in this pool are reviewed when the program has an immediate need to fill a vacancy as needed within two years. These positions will be filled beginning spring semester 2026 and will be recurring each spring semester (contracts will begin January 1, 2026).
Duties: Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Arts and Cultural Management and Museum Studies. Arts & Cultural Management courses include Intro to Arts and Cultural Management, Marketing and Public Relations, and Arts & Cultural Experience courses. Museum Studies courses include Museum Curatorial Practices and Museums & Cultural Experience courses.
Position is planned to recur every Spring Semester
