As a Releasing Coordinator at Caterpillar Inc., you will have the opportunity to learn from and contribute to a cooperative team. You will actively engage with facility management, clients, and dealers in the purchasing and releasing functions related to material requirements. You will build your practical expertise while learning material requirement planning and scheduling.
Position available on second shift, Mon - Fri 2:00pm - 10:30pm.
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Materials Planning
Coordinating workflow
Providing excellent customer service
Read/write and interpret documents
Perform a variety of clerical functions
Performing and/or coordinating the training of Associates on work techniques and promoting continuous improvement.
Assists the Supervisor in performing the material handling and warehousing functions required in inbound, outbound, and other operational functions
Using machines for weighing, banding, wrapping, packaging, stenciling, etc.
Maintaining related records or reports as required and resolving discrepancies where needed
Assisting the Warehouse Associates in resolving various work-related issues.
Assist with warehouse and/or order filling
Required Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills
Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
Available for same day, short-notice overtime
Familiarity with material requirement planning, scheduling, purchasing, and releasing functions related to material requirements
Flexible to move between departments as needed
Have basic keyboarding, typing skills and telephone skills
Desired Qualifications
Familiar with various office/warehouse systems
Working with Excel spreadsheets
Warehouse and/or order filling experience
Relocation assistance is not available for this role.

Summary Pay Range: $18.80 - $24.40 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
