The School of Packaging has 3 research associate positions available. Candidates are encouraged to apply if they have expertise polymer processing (rheology, cast and blown films, molding).
Candidates will be expected to design, develop, and perform experiments and report progress to Dr. Rabnawaz. In addition, these candidates will be expected to mentor one or two graduate students in the research group.

Required DegreeDoctorate -Polymer chemistry, Chemistry, Material Sciences
Minimum RequirementsCandidates will have completed a PhD in Polymer Chemistry, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Sciences or a closely related field by the position start date.
Desired QualificationsCandidates will have a good record of productivity in polymer processing (e.g., polymer blends, rheology, cast/blown films, molding, etc) and polymer characterization (e.g., DSC, DMA, TGA, tensile properties, etc.)
