Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Product Manager - Alternatives for the Alternative Investment Product team in the Wells Fargo Investment Institute (WFII) as part of Wealth & Investment Management (WIM). In this role, you will set up and test new and migrated fund documents for Alternative Investment trades, partner with Alternative application vendors to resolve issues, and support reporting for Alternative Investments.
In this role, you will:
Support firm-supported Alternative Investment reporting
Coordinate with other business units (Legal, Risk, Compliance, Sales, Operations) to address business support issue
Liaise with distribution channel partners to accurately report Alternative Investments
Assist with special projects related to business support initiatives
Assist with vendor management
Manage multiple responsibilities and tasks simultaneously
Utilize analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve issues
Required Qualifications:
6+ months of Product Management experience, marketing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Working knowledge of Alternative Investments
Experience reviewing testing strategies and methodologies to evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, processes, initiatives, products and internal controls
Experience creating, executing, and documenting compliance, control, and business process testing
Proven ability to build and maintain effective partnerships with internal partners and external vendors to meet business objectives
Advanced critical thinking skills with ability to professionally challenge status quo
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel working with v-lookups and pivot tables
Professional written and verbal communication skills
