Overview
The Lean Six Sigma Leader will be responsible for leading Lean Six Sigma initiatives throughout the organization. They will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities, drive process enhancements, and deliver measurable results. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and a proven track record of leading process improvement projects.
Responsibilities
Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional Lean Six Sigma projects, including defining project scopes, goals, and deliverables, and ensuring successful project execution.
Process Improvement: Apply Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies to identify and eliminate waste, reduce defects, improve process efficiency, and prioritize process improvement opportunities using lean tools such as value stream mapping, 5S, Kaizen events, and PDCA.
Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement lean initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement using tools such as DMAIC, PDCA, and Kaizen.
Training, Coaching, and Education: Provide training, education, and mentorship on lean principles to employees at all levels of the organization.
Change Management: Drive a culture of continuous improvement and change by fostering buy-in from all levels of the organization.
Data Analysis: Utilize data-driven approaches to analyze processes, measure performance, and identify root causes of issues.
Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and track progress of Lean Six Sigma initiatives.
Standardization: Develop and maintain standardized work procedures and best practices.
Supplier and Customer Engagement: Collaborate with suppliers and customers to enhance supply chain processes and meet customer expectations.
Lean Tools: Stay current with the latest lean tools and methodologies and apply them as appropriate.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience is preferred.
3+ years of previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience.
Proficiency in Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies and tools.
Results-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.
Ability to communicate with all levels (production team members, leads/supervisors, management, and senior leadership).
Proven ability to lead and/or facilitate cross-functional teams and influence change.
Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, presentation, and organization skills.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks to meet department and company goals.
