About the role:

As a Server Systems Engineer on TQL’s IT Infrastructure Team, you will be joining a close-knit group of Server Engineer’s. Our Server Engineer’s design, install, maintain, repair and upgrade infrastructure compute.

What you’ll be doing:

• Deploy Server Systems: Implement server solutions both virtual and physical to meet organizational needs.
• Monitor and Maintain Servers: Ensure optimal performance and availability.
• Troubleshoot Issues: Resolve server-related problems promptly.
• Implement Security Measures: Perform updates and patching for firmware and bios upgrades.
• Collaborate with IT Teams: Work with other departments to support business operations.
• Optimize Performance: Improve server efficiency and resource utilization.
• Project Execution: execute, and oversee server-related projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.
• Documentation: Develop and maintain documentation for server systems and processes.
  

What you need:

• Ability to provide on call support.
• Datacenter experience racking servers and running cables.
• VMware experience
• Storage and backup, Citrix, and Exchange Online experience is a plus
• 3+ years’ experience as a Server Engineer
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent amount of relevant work experience  
• Ability to travel as needed.
