Functional Analyst Level 1 at Kforce Inc in Cincinnati, Ohio

Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Cincinnati, OH that is seeking a Functional Analyst to join their team on a 6-month contract to hire basis.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the maintenance of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reporting functions


• Gather Retail Operations data from multiple databases, platforms, stakeholders, and 3rd party vendors to complete analyze


• Transform large data sets through data wrangling, exploratory data analysis, and predictive modeling


• Leverage Power BI (and other data visualization tools) to build and maintain custom reports and dashboards to reveal trends and correlations in large data sets


• Implement row level security in the Power BI (and other data visualization tools) to enable secured viewing of the reports for designated job levels and locations


• Identify opportunities to enhance reporting capabilities and improve processes


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the data needs to execute department and enterprise-wide strategic objectives and initiatives


• Identify and communicate any data-related issues and recommendations to the business owner, manager, and the team


• Provide data insights and solutions to leaders to drive decision-making

REQUIREMENTS:

• R experience (data cleaning, performing calculations on large datasets, performing exploratory data analysis); Use Python on occasion


• PowerBI experience (especially with DAX); Almost all of the data reporting is done in Power BI


• Experience working with Power Query, Dataflows, Row Level Security (RLS) and writing measures with DAX


• A great eye for visualization and a focus on the user experience; Our team attaches a lot of importance to making our reports nice looking and user friendly

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
