Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's client in Boston, MA is seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Manager to join their team! This client offers strong benefits and compensation package, health, dental and vision 401(k) plan, PTO + holidays. This position will be hybrid.

Duties:

• Prepare and oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP or IFRS


• Compliance with financial regulations and standards, including SEC filings, tax regulations and internal policies


• Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and accounting standards


• Supervise and mentor accounting and finance staff involved in financial reporting processes


• Develop a collaborative environment and provide training to team members as needed


• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement


• Coordinate and support external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations


• Budgeting and Forecasting skill


• Work closely with other departments, Tax, Treasury, Operations to ensure integrated financial reporting

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA preferred


• CPA designation required


• 5+ years of accounting/financial analysis required


• Strong attention to detail, organizational, decision making and problem-solving skills


• Software proficiency - Microsoft Office products, accounting software experience, Great Plains, NetSuite will be welcomed


• Time management skills able to multitask projects and meet critical deadlines


• Technical knowledge of accounting principles and research


• Communication skills - verbal and written skills should be accurate with reporting, presenting to leadership and stockholders

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
