Provides technical and clerical support to assist the team of Licensed Agents by managing new quotes, cancellations and endorsements, answering phones.
Provides solutions and customer service to our clients via emails, phone calls and faxing. Maintain positive relationships with our clients.
Essential Responsibilities: • Provides prompt, courteous, and professional customer service to clients
and Insurance Carriers and other staff members. • Utilizes Carrier Website system to determine rating and prepare insurance
quote offers for new and renewal business within internal and carrier guidelines. • Refers concerns outside authority to the agents or Management. • Professionally Responds to all customer and insurance carrier correspondence via e-mail and phone. • Provides customer service and problem resolution over the phone in a high-volume call environment. • Provides other technical and clerical support as required by Agents staff and management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
1. Experience in customer service and/or insurance roles or HS Diploma/GED with experience in high volume business/insurance sales and customer service.
2. Ability to work efficiently on computer systems and to learn new systems quickly. Experienced with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
3. Must be able to handle a variety of tasks in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
4. Ability to prioritize job responsibilities to meet internal service standards and carrier requirements; effective priority and time management.
5. Must exhibit strong attention to detail and understand its importance with our business.
6. Must possess exceptional customer service skills.
7. Strong oral and written communication skills required. Ability to write business correspondence.
8. Must demonstrate teamwork and ability to develop productive relationships with peers and management.
