Leveraging your deep expertise in operating models, organizational design, and business architecture, you will guide clients through complex challenges and drive impactful change. This role requires a strategic thinker who excels in ambiguous environments, possesses strong leadership and facilitation skills, and is passionate about helping organizations achieve their full potential through thoughtful and scalable design solutions.

What You'll Do



  • Advise and Co-Create Strategic Operating Models: Partner with clients to design and implement innovative operating models, organization structures, and ways of working that align with business strategy, addressing challenges through workshops and leadership alignment sessions.

  • Drive Organizational Transformation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose and assess current operating models, identify opportunities, and develop action plans that enhance organizational design, structure, and processes, supporting complex business transformations and merger integrations.

  • Strategic Guidance and Decision-Making: Lead discussions to help clients navigate organizational strategy decisions, such as establishing product teams, Centers of Excellence, and Shared Services, while articulating the unique value propositions of new business units or organizations.

  • Leadership Engagement and Alignment: Design, develop, and deliver leadership engagement activities that build alignment, secure buy-in, and ensure the successful execution of mission-driven strategies and organizational frameworks.

  • Cross-Industry Expertise: Apply a deep understanding of organizational principles across various industries, quickly building client credibility, and integrating organizational activities into broader business transformation initiatives.


What You'll Bring



  • 5+ years of transformational organizational strategist experience; of which 3+ years is in management consulting

  • Experience designing and applying operating model and organization principles, methodologies, and tools - and knowing when to not over-engineer

  • Experience in organizational assessment, workforce planning, and organizational design/structure that allows for capability development and organizational scaling

  • Ability to lead the design and facilitation of strategic planning sessions - aligning leaders around a shared mission, vision, and strategy

  • Strong skills with research and analysis, strategic vision mapping, and systems thinking

  • Outstanding interpersonal communication skills with audiences of all levels with the ability to convey ideas and recommendations in a clear, compelling, and succinct way

  • Strong business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges

  • Easy adaptability to new environments; embracing ambiguity

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this Senior Consultant position, the base salary pay range is $120,000 to $186,000 and the targeted base salary range is $120,000 to $160,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
