Responsibilities
Assists in cleaning drains in homes and commercial buildings
Assists in performing pipe inspection with cameras
Assists in unclogging sewers, kitchen and bathroom sinks, tubs, toilets, etc. using plumbing snakes and machines
Assists in performing preventive maintenance in commercial establishments by pumping grease traps
May assist in all plumbing repairs or installation of new or existing plumbing equipment and the repair of drain lines
May assist in providing cost estimates for other plumbing services
May assist in using sewer cameras and sewer locators to determine options and performing some excavation for repairs
May pick up and deliver parts
Maintains and fuels vehicle, stocks the service truck with adequate parts, maintains machinery and transports materials and tools to the job site and provides proper accounting of tools
Qualifications
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred. Related experience and/or advanced training or any equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted
Must be at least 18 years of age
Basic plumbing capabilities.
Knowledge of local and national plumbing code is desired
A valid driver's license and good communications skills are required
Strong work ethic, communication skills and commitment to learning
