Your Role:
Essential Job Functions:
Packages and ships external and internal customer orders to meet established shipping schedules
Performs duties according to established SOP's, ISO 9000, cGMP, and DOT regulations to support corporate regulatory efforts
Maintains computer inventory control system for shipping procedures, inter- company transfers and material issues
Uses various rolling power equipment (forklifts, Reaches,etc) in a safe and productive manner
Conducts regular cycle counts of all inventoried materials
Supplies Production department with daily supplies to meet production scheduling needs
Performs daily housekeeping in the warehouse and outside around waste containers and driveway ramps. (as required)
Prepares materials for remote site storage
Maintains paperwork according to SOP and DOT regulations
Takes part in and contributes to a safe working environment by following corporate and departmental safety regulations
Assists supervisor in training new personnel for the department
Performs other relevant duties as assigned
Physical Attributes:
Lift up to 70 pounds on a regular basis
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED
2+ years experience in a warehouse or material handling environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Perform basic math
Ability to obtain forklift operator's certification
Ability to use Microsoft Office
Previous forklift experience
Shipping or receiving experience in a warehouse environment
