Bristol Bay Construction Holdings LLC (BBCH) is seeking a full-time Contract Specialist to work collaboratively with a team of contract administrators, attorneys, and project personnel in resolving contractual issues with subcontractors, vendors, and the client.
In this key position, the successful candidate must be able to adhere to internal processes with the ability to work in fast paced environments and provide organized execution of tasks under time constraints. The ability to manage a diverse workload in changing environments is a must. The candidate will also have the skill of liaising and building relationships with business unit personnel as well as vendors and contractors.
Location: Manchester, ME preferred, but will consider remote
Key responsibilities include:
Work with the contract administrators and project personnel to negotiate prime and subcontract terms as needed; and
Identify and mitigate contract-related risks.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business management or other related field, mandatory;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
10 years of prime or subcontract management experience in a Federal Government contracting environment;
Certification in Contract Management is a plus;
Thorough understanding of FAR and FAR supplements regulations;
In depth understanding of various government contract types (e.g. IDIQ, cost-reimbursable, firm fixed price, etc.), regulations, processes, and procedures;
Ability to develop solutions to complex subcontract and prime contract-related issues, ensuring that resolution is consistent with company mandates in a timely manner;
Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of duties while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations;
Ability to exhibit sound interpersonal skills involving interfacing, coordinating and negotiating with company personnel, subcontractors and suppliers; and
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Pay Range: $75,000-100,000
