Responsibilities

Hexagon’s Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division (Hexagon) is seeking a Remote – Senior Market Development Representative within our Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division’s Americas group. In this position, you will be part of a powerful North America engine of prospecting and pipeline generating champions. The Senior Market Development Representative role is a vital one at Hexagon and it will be your responsibility to find the right people, at the right companies, to find winnable business for the sales team to turn into pipeline and revenue. Great communication skills, work ethic, intense persistence, curiosity in qualifying, sales talents, and ability to learn and grow with Hexagon technology and processes are needed to be successful.

  • Support and collaborate with Sales teams in preparation for and during customer engagement
  • Effectively research accounts to support needs analysis and prospect business requirements
  • Outbound phone calling to qualify leads and schedule introduction meetings / appointments with The Sales Team
  • Attend calls with prospects; handle the hand-off / introduction to the Account Executives
  • Meet quarterly SAL Quota
  • Develop new strategies around social prospecting, social selling and email techniques as additional means to set meetings
  • Follow up with Prospects until there is forward motion or to find a better avenue within that prospect’s Company
  • Accurately enter, update, and maintain prospect information in SalesForce.com
  • Help support marketing campaigns by identifying and qualifying buying interest and nurture the leads in our named target accounts
  • Know the Hexagon portfolio and vision, and learn the buyer persona's relevant to assigned industry segments
  • Become proficient in all sales tool, sales processes, and Salesforce etiquette.
  • Prospect according to Account Assignments and Ideal Client Profile of the Account Based Marketing methodology

Education / Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1.5 years experience
  • Ability to learn about Hexagon’s digital reality solutions and learn or knowledge of Industrial Facilities Ecosystem.
  • Willingness to make large volumes of outbound prospecting and qualification calls
  • Great communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to see trends that help find winnable business that will turn into pipeline for the sales team
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, high activity, high efficiency and strong work ethic role
  • Strong self-awareness, optimism, sense of humor, and thrives on positive office culture
  • Ability to document all account development activities in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
  • Mastery of web presentation tools and calendar scheduling for appointments and presentations
  • Coachable and willing to learn new strategies and tactics
  • Willingness to work in a collaborative environment sharing strategies, working on marketing and social media tactics.
  • Ready to tackle challenges and excited to win, and driven to win some more
  • Experience with CRM software such as SalesForce and/or SalesLoft and Sales Navigator
  • Proficiency in Office productivity software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency with Scheduling tools such as Outlook
  • Ability to consistently meet and exceed quota/goal objectives
  • Ability to self-manage, working independently and as a member of a team
