The Strategic Growth Manager helps develop lateral growth strategies firmwide, and manages the implementation and execution of strategic initiatives. In conjunction with the Director of Strategic Growth, the manager provides direction to the Attorney Recruiting team on the execution of recruiting activities for lateral partners and of counsels in the recruiting, onboarding, and integration pipelines. This individual collaboratively works with Strategic Growth, Attorney Recruiting, and other cross functional teams on multi-faceted projects and ensures client service and satisfaction are attained in all areas of position.
Manage research, discovery, and analysis of lateral market intelligence data obtained via outside consultants, industry research databases, association forums, and media outlets for the planning of strategic business activities/initiatives as guided by the strategic growth director.
Generate comprehensive market activity and trends reports for benchmarking strategic growth by lateral acquisitions, recruitment, and integration retention rates.
Maintain early stage and in-development strategic plans, growth initiative models, and targeting concepts.
Ensure all exploratory candidate data is housed in the CRM and visible to the appropriate team members. Provide clear communication to stakeholders about leadership decisions to pursue candidates and their desired timelines
Manage the implementation and execution of lateral strategic growth initiatives and programs, including diversity growth initiatives, for the firm's departments and practice groups that support the firm's objectives.
Manage the process of unifying practice groups' thoughts, objectives, and goals around lateral growth plans to frame lateral initiatives/searches.
Lead strategic intake meetings with department and practice group leadership to identify and assess needs. Ensure action plans are aligned with firmwide strategic goals and priorities as advised by the strategic growth director.
Manage the key search firm provider program and provide periodic data on their performance to firm leadership. Serve as a primary point of contact for search firm recruiters, identifying and assessing recruiters qualified to work on searches, and managing centralized communications with them on firmwide strategic priorities for the U.S., Europe, and Asia.
Create and monitor budget for strategic growth initiatives and programs.
Manage all strategic growth team workflows. Regularly collaborate with cross functional team members in Attorney Recruiting, Marketing, Conflicts, Finance, and Human Resources to keep workflow reference materials in sync with firm protocols and provide insights on any firmwide collectives.
ABOUT YOU
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree and 6-8 years of legal recruiting experience in a mid-size to large law firm; related data analyst and marketing research experience preferred.
Strong technology skills in MS Office products with high level of proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Proficient in legal industry business and competitive intelligence databases. Familiarity with Human Resources recruiting and onboarding systems and relational databases preferred.

Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus, overtime as applicable, health/welfare benefits, retirement contributions, paid holidays, and PTO. The range displayed is specifically for positions performed in those cities/states and may vary based on factors including but not limited to the following: local market data and ranges; an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience; and certain degrees, licensing, and certifications.
San Francisco salary range: $145k to $175k
