Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., Technology Group is hiring Senior Software Engineer to provide development, configuration, testing, integration, and infrastructure support. As a Senior Systems Engineer specializing in core technology modernization, your role will involve integrations with a vendor SaaS solution through API development and integration with other technical solutions such as batch transfers and messaging topics.
This role will be part of the Enterprise Product and Pricing Management Fees team to learn, explore, and highlight features offered by the vendor offerings and suggestions into how to best utilize those capabilities. Components will continue to evolve as integrations are developed. Currently include the integration with core System of Record applications such as Hogan and other Rates and Product Catalog applications, middleware, and channels. Responsible for application releases through the whole software development lifecycle including designing, coding, testing, performance testing, security testing and post deployment support for complex applications and initiatives.
In this role you will:
Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
Design, build, and maintain technology solutions including those that are companywide with broad impact
Act as a key participant in upholding standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large-scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs supporting Core Modernization
Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions and integrations for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
Remediate security vulnerabilities and implement technology mandates in a timely matter to remain system compliant.
Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
Work within scrum teams in end-to-end development, testing, and integration with SaaS vendor and application partners
Identify and develop automation for repetitive tasks
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Systems Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
4+ years Java development
2+ years software development SDLC experience
2+ years software change management experience
2+ years contributing to large scale technology platforms
2+ years' experience using postman to validate API
Desired Qualifications
Ability to work both independently and in collaboration with internal/external teams to implement and troubleshoot issues
Experience with building and maintaining enterprise-scale API and batch job processing
Change and Incident Management expertise utilizing ServiceNow
Strong communication skills and proven ability to collaborate with internal and external technology partners both on and offshore
