Job Summary:
The Human Resources Operations Generalist provides a range of operational and administrative support to the Human Resources department and is responsible for audits, CORI review, employee files, exit interviews and general organizing, coordinating, and monitoring.
This an exempt position.

Essential Functions of Position:
Provide personnel policy and procedure guidance to employees and management.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state employment law and compliance requirements.
Respond to human resources-related inquiries.
Process complaints regarding sexual harassment, discrimination, or other instances of workplace harassment and assist in any necessary investigations and disciplinary actions.
Maintain employee personnel records.
Act as the lead CORI reviewer using all applicable rules and regulations to ensure agency compliance, including EEOHS, DDS and DPPC regulations.
Assist with processing accommodation requests, workers compensation and unemployment request
Responsible for managing agency audits including data retrieval, kick off meetings and other related tasks
Acts as the backup to the talent acquisition generalist
Assist with licensure and certification tracking
Participate in development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and ongoing reports for company requirements
Suggest new procedures and policies for improving employee experience as well as the efficiency of HR department and company
Ensure compliance with local and national regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and procedures when necessary
Handle all exit interviews, including data entry in human resources information systems (HRIS) and audits for accuracy and compliance
Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, employee directory, and organizational chart, and contribute to policy development
Requirements for the Position:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
5-7 years human resources experience
Experience with HRMS/HRIS systems
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook)
PHR or SPHR certification preferred
Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
Demonstrated knowledge of the human resources field
Understanding of state and federal employment regulations
Understanding of personnel and compliance records management
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities
Ability to maintain confidentiality
