HQ'd out of Dallas, they have opened an office in ATX, due to growth and have a strong pipeline of work. With school ISD's and clients asking them to be their preferred builder. My client has a project in Lockhart that requires the right candidate to be competent in leading K-12 renovations. Ground Up is desirable, but attitude and values are essential. The current PM has gone on long-term sick leave and currently lives in Dallas. Due to the need of local talent, this opportunity is immediate, and they will be assigned more work in ATX for the years to come.

Job Description
Looking for a Project Manager with a degree
Understanding of the local market and experience preferred
Used vision point, procore and Primavera (P6)
Work with Project Manager to assist design efforts, solicit and qualify bids, develop contract documents, manage construction documents, financials
5-7+ years experience of proven assistant project managers who have led work from dirt to completion
4-year degree in Construction science, business or finance degree A desirable.
Previous experience as Project Engineer with a construction contractor
Responsibilities
Assist with cost estimates during design through active bid procurement
Assist in developing contract documents and pre-qualified subs and vendors
Visit the site periodically and assist with the coordination of on-site activities with the Superintendent.
Manage subcontractor contract compliance
Develop detailed scopes of work by trade to include as exhibits in contract documents
Prepare schedule exhibits by duration for all subcontractors
Ensure all materials are procured well in advance of the time needed
Review daily reports from superintendent
Monitor all materials test reports for compliance with standards and specifications
Obtain shop drawings from subcontractors and suppliers. Ensure timely review and approval by architects and engineers so that there are no delays to schedule
Ensure that materials are being used where and how intended
Monitor field generated requests prior to commencement of extra work
Assist with preparation of the final punch list for all subcontractors and ensure all items
Are completed prior to release of retainage payment
Ensure the as-built plan set is completed by the superintendent
