Job Description Summary:

The accountant is responsible for the end-to-end ownership of our monthly lease process. The accountant will utilize our lease software to manage lease data along with SAP to post and reconcile lease accounts.

Your way to impact



As a member of our team, you will be a critical member of the Record-to-Report team that is responsible for the end-to-end accounting of our Lease activity. You will work cross-functionally with FP&A, SEC, Real Estate and Data Center teams as well as manage the data in our lease software system (Visual Lease). You will be responsible for recording the monthly journal entries, reconciling accounts and preparing quarterly reports for statutory reporting. You will also work to make efficiency improvements in the overall process.



Your day to day



In your day-to-day role you will be

• Interpret and implement lease accounting policies


• Oversee close process for Balance Sheet activity


• Prepare and post journal entries


• Perform and support account reconciliations


• Support SOX, Audit, and SEC tasks related to lease accounting and general ledger activity

What you need to bring

• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting


• Self-motivated, high-energy individual, ability to cope with tight deadlines & teamwork is an important quality for the role


• Intense attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and deliver in a fast paced and dynamic environment with a high degree of personal accountability


• SAP Financial System experience, Visual Lease or Costar experience


• Strong process improvement skills


• Experience at a large international growth company

Basic Qualifications

• Demonstrate relevant accounting experience within a multinational company along with working with functional, document and local currency

• Experience range - 4 - 7 years

• Accounting Qualification and / or Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent experience


• Advanced technical skills in Microsoft Excel are necessary
