Job Description:

Technatomy is seeking an accomplished Senior Director of Operational Excellence to drive business growth, customer success, and project delivery excellence across our federal market portfolio. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Application Modernization, this role will be instrumental in establishing and maintaining operational excellence throughout our federal practice while ensuring successful capture management and customer delivery outcomes. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of our federal business while building high-performing teams and partnerships.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Business Development & Capture Management:


  • Lead and execute capture activities for federal agency opportunities

  • Develop comprehensive capture strategies and plans

  • Direct proposal development and win strategies

  • Establish and maintain key stakeholder and partner relationships

  • Monitor and report on capture performance metrics

 Customer Success & Advocacy:


  • Implement and oversee customer success frameworks

  • Drive customer satisfaction initiatives and solution adoption

  • Establish and track customer success metrics and KPIs

  • Design and manage customer feedback mechanisms

  • Develop success stories and case studies

  • Build and maintain customer advocacy programs

 Project Delivery Excellence:


  • Define and maintain project delivery standards and methodologies

  • Ensure quality consistency across project portfolio

  • Implement and monitor best practices and project health

  • Oversee risk management and issue resolution processes

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives in delivery processes

 Partner Alliance Management:


  • Develop and manage strategic partner relationships

  • Oversee teaming agreements and partner performance

  • Lead joint opportunity development initiatives

  • Manage small business partnership programs

  • Ensure federal contracting requirement compliance

 Strategic Proposal Development:


  • Direct technical writing and proposal development efforts

  • Create compelling business cases and value propositions

  • Oversee development of executive summaries and technical solutions

  • Maintain proposal quality and compliance standards

  • Establish and update proposal best practices and templates

 KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

 


  • 15+ years of experience in operational excellence and process improvement

  • Demonstrated success in sales and capture activities

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification

  • Proven track record of leading enterprise-wide transformation initiatives

  • Experience managing complex programs

  • Strong technical writing and oral communication skills at the executive level

  • Strong background in change management and cultural transformation

  • Excellence in stakeholder management and team leadership

  • Demonstrated success in federal or regulated environments

  • Experience with performance metrics and continuous improvement

 KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS DESIRED:

 


  • Experience with federal programs and requirements

  • Knowledge of low-code/no-code platform delivery methodologies and concepts

  • Experience leading distributed teams

  • Program management certifications

  • Experience leading distributed teams

  • Background in training and professional development

  • Knowledge of federal procurement processes

  • Experience with multiple improvement methodologies

 EDUCATION:

 


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Technology Management, or related field preferred

  • A minimum of 5 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for advanced degree requirements

 CLEARANCE:

 


  • Must be a US Citizen

  • Must have or be able to attain Moderate Risk Public Trust Suitability Determination

  • Active security clearance preferred

 WORK LOCATION:

 


  • Remote with travel up to 15% required for:


    • Customer meetings and site visits

    • Partner engagement sessions

    • Proposal and capture activities

    • Business development initiatives

    • Team building and collaboration events

    • Industry conferences and events
