Under the general direction of the Business Center Manager, in a team-centered environment, serves as a resource for faculty and university staff providing financial support to assigned units in compliance with Clemson University policies and procedures. Performs or assigned additional duties as directed.
JOB DUTIES:
60% - Essential - Accounting and Financial Reporting: Facilitates travel and disbursement requests including interpretation of applicable policies and procedures. Assists faculty and staff with inquiries on accounting systems including individual spending projects. Attends required training. Serves as backup for other college payables staff when needed and assigned by College Business Officer.
40% - Essential - Procurement and Compliance: Performs daily accounting duties which includes credit card (PCard) liaison, requisitioner in BuyWays, Concur point of contact, and process student reimbursements, preparation of CUF vouchers, IDO's and web invoices. Ensures the accurate documentation of all financial transactions. Provides financial data utilizing CUBS query tools, and data warehouse reports. Coordinates processing of grant, gifts and revenue expenditures according to University guidelines. Performs monthly Budget Status Reports and maintains auditable files including PCard transactions. Monitors budgets for accurate posting of expenditures and fund balances. Monitors voucher error report and takes corrective action.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education - High School or Equivalent Work Experience 1+ years
