The Assistant Director will assist the Director in the overall management and supervision of the program. The Assistant Director will be responsible for ensuring that the program meets all state and local regulations, as well as maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for the children.
Key Responsibilities
• Having a love of children and a strong commitment to educating the whole child.
• Assist the Director in the overall management and supervision of the Pre-K program
• Ensure that the program meets all state and local regulations
• Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for the children
• Assist in the development and implementation of curriculum and activities
• Supervise and evaluate staff members
• Communicate with parents and families regarding their child's progress
• Assist in the recruitment and hiring of staff members
• Attend meetings and trainings as required
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in a ECE program
• Knowledge of state and local regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff members and families
• Strong organizational and time management skills
