Description: The Judge Group has partnered with a company in the Northern suburbs of Indianapolis to find a Director of Operations for their team. This role oversees all warehouse/distribution and logistics operations at the facility. The right candidate needs to have "on the floor" presence as well as be a big company strategy thinker!
Responsibilities:
Manage the leadership team of the facility and all direct/indirect reports through development, training, career advancement, and job performance.
Manage the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring that all processes are running efficiently and effectively.
Oversee inventory management, ensuring that accurate records are maintained and that all orders are fulfilled on time.
Develop and implement processes and procedures to optimize warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping of goods.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure that all customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
Ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are followed and that the warehouse is maintained in a clean and organized manner.
Manage a team of warehouse personnel, providing coaching and training as needed to improve performance and productivity.
Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Work with senior management to develop strategies to meet organizational goals and objectives.
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree
5+ years in senior management roles overseeing all warehouse and distribution operations
8+ years of distribution, logistics, and transportation experience
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations systems and software
